The Analytics section provides visibility into SMS activity, contact growth, engagement trends, and campaign performance. All analytics are generated automatically from message data processed by Volts Connect.

Analytics Overview

The Analytics dashboard gives you a high-level view of how SMS is being used across your site.

Metrics available

  2. Messages sent

  3. Messages received

  4. Average message length

  5. Response rate

  6. Total contacts

  7. New contacts

These metrics help you understand overall usage and engagement at a glance.

Campaign Analytics

When using Pro Messaging, Volts Connect tracks analytics at the campaign level.

Available insights

  1. Messages sent per campaign

  2. Delivery and response activity

  3. Peak activity times

  4. Recent campaign activity

  5. Most active contacts

Campaign analytics allow you to measure performance and refine future messaging.

Campaign analytics are visible only when the Pro Messaging add-on is active.

Time-Based Filters

Analytics data can be filtered by time range to focus on specific periods.

Supported filters

  • Last 7 days

  • Last 30 days

  • Custom date range

How filtering works

  • Filters apply to all metrics and charts

  • Charts update dynamically when the date range changes

  • Historical data remains intact and unchanged

Message Trends

Analytics highlight contacts with the highest messaging activity.

Most active contacts are calculated automatically based on message history.


Data Accuracy & Updates

  1. Analytics update automatically as messages are sent or received

  2. No manual refresh is required

  4. Deleting or archiving conversations does not affect historical analytics
